Kyobo Life Award for Environment is the most prestigious award in Korea. It awards an individual or organization which has made a great contribution to promote the consciousness of environment and realize eco-friendly society in the field of environmental education, the culture of life, ecological alternative and international division.

It has been awarded the last 15 years since its inception in 1997. The Kyobo Life Grad Award for Environment is considered the most prestigious award for environmental issues, which people who work in the environmental field seek to receive.

KFEC created the award for international division to take a responsibility to solve global environmental problems for the first time in Korea.

Category	Qualification	Note
Environmental Education	An individual or organization which contributes to improve environmental education within society or school.	only for Korean nationals
Culture of Life	An individual or organization which expresses the value of life or propose the vision of ecological society in a creative work or a project including journalism, writing, publication, photography, film, performance, design, art or architecture.
Ecological Alternative	An individual or organization which contributes to resolve environmental problems or makes society sustainable through ecological community involvement, alternative skill or environmental movement.
International Division	An individual or organization which makes an achievement, that is internationally worthy of emulation, to resolve environmental problems in the field of environmental education, environmental movement, ecological community involvement, alternative skill, journalism, publication and arts.	Excluding korean nationals

The Amount of Award: 50,000,000 won
(The amount will be changed for US dollar by the exchange rate as of the award date)

Dead line of the application: November 30th of every year.

Award Ceremony: Middle of April, following submission of application

Acceptance of the recommendation by mail or email.
