The Kyobo Foundation of Education and Culture (hereinafter KFEC) was established to run educational and cultural work contributing to raise leaders, increase national power and to promote public interests with initial funding from Kyobo Life Insurance Company, Ltd. (hereinafter KLIC) (President: Changjae Shin) in 1997 in accordance with the regulation regarding the establishment of a nonprofit foundation.

The KFEC strives to recover human morality which has been ruined in the industrialization and hand down our great spiritual culture.

This is a realization of the founding philosophy of KLIC.

The KFEC carries out various initiatives such as environmental programs, scholarship grant programs, educational and welfare programs to make this society a better place which values life, provides educational chances for everybody fairly and shares in that hope.
